Beauty: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Today blog I would like to share with you about the makeup remover product that I'm currently use. If you guys have read my previous blog, I have wrote that I was using Safi Balqis OxyWhite Micellar Makeup Remover.
Actually Safi Balqis OxyWhite Micellar Makeup Remover is good to remove heavy makeup or waterproof makeup, especially eyes makeup. Honestly, I totally love this product. But, suddenly I feel it is not worthy to use it as daily makeup remover since my daily makeup is very light makeup. So, I'm purposely change my makeup remover. 

 Right now, the makeup remover that I use is coming from Garnier brand. To be honest, I never use any products from Garnier brand even this brand already exist long time ago. Here don't get any negative thinking. I don't use products from Garnier not because I hate it. I don't hate products from Garnier, I just not interested to try any Garnier products before. Until one day, my friend recommend to me this brand to me. My friend has told me the pro and con about this products and I feel interested to try it. Overall, you can say this is my first time try products from Garnier.

The products that I choose to try from Granier brand is Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
There are three type of Micellar Cleansing Water from Garnier. It is Blue Color, Pink Color and Yellow Color. Blue Color is for oily and acne-prone skin, Pink color is for sensitive skin and Yellow Color is for all skin type.

Currently I use Blue Color Micellar Cleansing Water. I personally choose the Micellar Cleansing Water for oliy and acne prone skin not because my skin type is oily or acne prone. Actually my skin type is normal skin type. My skin condition change according the weather. In Malaysia, we have rainy season and summer season. When summer season, my skin became totally dry and sensitive. But when rainy season coming, my skin condition change to oily skin.

Currently, season in Malaysia is rainy season. So, my face became a little bit oily and my skincare products also need to change. Okay, let I tell you what the benefit and disadvantage about this Micellar Cleansing Water.


The advantage of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is;

  • make your skin smooth and hydrate after using it
  • totally can remove foundation and light makeup 
  • no need to rinse after using it

The disadvantage of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is

  • Not really remove eyes makeup. When you apply waterproof eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara, it quiet difficult to remove by using this products. So, make sure you prepare another makeup remover for eyes makeup. 
  • Cannot remove heavy makeup 

The price of Garnier Micellar Water is affordable. However, the price between Yellow Color and Blue/Pink color is different. Maybe because Yellow color have adding oil-infused. So, the price is different.

  • Blue/Pink color : RM 7.90 (50ml), RM 14.48 (125ml), RM 23.91 (400ml)
  • Yellow color : RM 19.89 (125ml), RM 39.90 (400ml)


Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is popular products in Malaysia, so it is easily to find it. However, usually I buy this product from Guardian & Watsons because sometimes Guardian & Watsons have offer/discount price.
